In September 2023, we joined local companies and project partners in the PtX Cluster Zealand project to discuss the potentials of sustainable PtX production in Region Zealand and Kalundborg.

Kalundborg Symbiosis invited for the workshop adding a local perspective focusing on future PtX scenarios and matchmaking between project partners and relevant stakeholders in the Kalundborg PtX landscape - following up on The Potentials of Sustainable PtX Investments workshop held in June.

The outcome of the workshop was a comprehensive depiction of future business perspectives readily applicable for identifying driving forces and strategies to back local support for the PtX journey.

Five of Zealand's high-tech, innovative companies cooperate on technological development that contributes to reduce costs of PtX production with up to 20 % - in close collaboration with researchers, industry, and business development organizations.

The purpose of the project is to reduce costs and scale up the production of green hydrogen from renewable energy sources, i.e., to speed up Zealand's PtX development.

The PtX Cluster Zealand innovation project is funded by REACT-EU and the Danish Business Promotion Agency.
