Towards 2030, Knowledge Hub Zealand's ambition is to create an educational and business beacon in North West Zealand within biosolutions and biomanufacturing.

To achieve this ambition, Knowledge Hub Zealand is working to:

Strengthen the educational environment in Kalundborg and the entire Region Zealand in biosolutions, biomanufacturing, industry 4.0 and other professional areas
Strengthen innovation and technological development targeted at industry in Kalundborg in biosolutions, biomanufacturing, industry 4.0 and other professional areas
Strengthen the business framework conditions for industry and the SME environment in Kalundborg and in Region Zealand more generally through initiatives targeted at the actual needs of businesses, financed by investments from the EU, public pools, private foundations, etc.
Strengthen attraction and retention of teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs and businesses
Strengthen the attraction and retention of students, in particular those in the technical, engineering and scientific fields
Facilitate contact and strengthen cooperation between educational institutions, researchers, industry, SMEs and start-ups/entrepreneurs
