How can we apply Quantum Computing to solve challenges in chemical and biochemical industries? That was the central question at the Quantum Computing Applications in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Workshop.ย
Quantum Computing is an emerging and rapidly growing field, and as quantum computers continuously advance, it is important to develop software and algorithms that can be applied to specific challenges facing the chemical and biochemical industries.
And the problem-solving outlook that is used for QC development can readily be applied to solve challenges on classical systems as Quantum-inspired solutions.
Packed with interesting discussions, panel and Q&A sessions, and networking, the workshop provided many new insights and perspectives. We will continue to build on this workshop with a focus on offering the community value and identifying potential applications for QC algorithms in the chemical and biochemical industries.
Knowledge Hub Zealand co-co-organized the workshop together with DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Quantum for Life Center, and AIChE – American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
