12 new Master’s degree programs across the country were approved this Spring – one of them is the new degree program in Biosolutions.
The need for specialist skills determines establishment of new education
Knowledge Hub Zealand works to support Scandinavia’s largest biotech cluster in the objective of becoming an internationally leading biotech and process cluster for education, research, and innovation as well as an international hub for advanced biotech production (Industry 4.0).
The new degree program in Biosolutions is one step on the path to achieving these objectives, and we are thrilled about this collaboration proces ending in the establishment of a new, very relevant education program.
The MSc in Biosolutions is offered by University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet); Department of Food Science and Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences starting in August 2024.
The program will contribute to support the Biotech City‘s large industry’s growing need for talents within the biosolutions field while generally increasing focus on biosolutions research and contributing to accelerate the green transition.
